The BBC visited Omagh High School on the 11th October 2022 as part of the ‘BBC100 Share Your Story’ .
This is part of the BBC’s centenary celebrations, where the BBC plans to visit around 400 secondary schools across the UK, reaching approx. 400,000 students. In each session a carefully selected BBC Ambassador will share their inspirational journey with students, in a bid to inspire them through the power of storytelling.
Omagh High School pupils had the opportunity to listen to the BBC Ambassador on Tuesday, Mairead Campbell and she shared her true story with the students, covering her career journey, all she has been through and had to overcome.
Our pupils had the opportunity to ask insightful questions and to find out more about the BBC ambassadors including their story and career.
