On Tuesday 18th March, Omagh High School faced Castlederg High School in the McMullan Shield. In the first half both teams had opportunities to open the scoring, but it was Omagh High School that would break the deadlock just before half time with a goal from Jack J, which was a well taken shot across the goalkeeper. Castlederg started the second half much brighter, forcing Jake D to make some crucial saves to keep the score at 1-0. Despite our best efforts, Castlederg deservedly drew level with ten minutes remaining. Both teams went for the win, with chances at both ends. In the end, the game finished 1-1 with both teams having to settle for a point.
