Final preparations are under way for what promises to be another action packed and exciting day at Omagh High School’s Annual Charity Horse Show on Thursday 5 October 2023 in Ecclesville Equestrian Centre, Fintona. Showjumping competitors from across Northern Ireland and Donegal are set to descend on the local arena to fight it out for the individual honours as well as the hotly contested school team showjumping titles. The action is set to begin at 9:15am sharp and will proceed without breaks throughout the day.
A special word of thanks must go to Dora Beacom, judge, and Raymond Caldwell, course builder, as well as to our local businesses including, Omagh Equestrian and Country Wear, Boyd Bedding, MGM Equestrian, Baileys and Bluegrass who have sponsored the generous prizes on offer. In addition, perpetual cups and shields will be awarded in each class.
Proceeds from the day will go to Omagh Riding for the Disabled Group to help extend their present facilities and support to the young people of our area.
