Omagh High School were extremely unlucky to lose to Castlederg HS today. Two goals against the run of play left Omagh without their first win.
Omagh started the game very strongly with constant pressure on the Castlederg goals - shots coming in from Sarah, Grace, Chloe, Lille and Lucy. But as was to be for the whole game, the Castlederg keeper pulled off save after save after save. Midfield also joined in on the attacks and the defensive line were also able to step up and stop any potential attacks quickly.
Omagh did manage to deservedly break the deadlock in the second half through Chloe on the right post.
Omagh fought for the win right to the end with yet more shots being saved or going agonisingly wide.
Very unlucky and disappointing today, but great individual performances across the pitch and a great team effort!
