At the end of March, a group of Year 8 pupils had the pleasure of taking part in a shared education tree planting activity at Arleston Park. The event was facilitated by FODC and Omagh Rotary Club.
We made the most of the opportunity to learn outdoors about the benefits of trees and how to plant them. As these trees mature, they will improve the environment and the aesthetics of the area for years to come.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best time is now.
