On 26/02/25, Ulster University lecturer, Dr. W Murphy, visited the English department at Omagh High School to deliver a very special seminar on the current A Level text, The Scarlet Letter. Pupils were delighted to receive this taster of university life and thoroughly enjoyed all the insights into the text, ranging from Hawthorne's struggles with his ancestry to the theory behind Transcendentalism.
Dr. W Murphy also found time to speak to all our 6th Form pupils about what Ulster University has to offer as they consider their move to further education.
